Species Details

Galingale is a very rare, recently-established perennial of the sides of ponds,canals and streams. This decorative native of coastal south-west Britain has only been seen in the east of Derbyshire, from Grassmoor (SK4167) and Williamthorpe (SK4366) in the north to around Long Eaton (SK4835,SK5031) in the south.
