Species Details

see D. incarnata for an account of this subspecies.

This subspecies was determined by D.M. Turner-Etlinger, who is quoted as having only ever seen ssp coccinea at three other sites away from its usual dune-slacks....marshes on Anglesey, on Orkney and one remarkable site in Essex. (pers. comm. P Torry)
