Species Details

Sweet William is a very rare casual perennial of roadsides, waste ground and tips where it grows as a garden escape of throwout. It is recorded mainly from the north-eastern part of our area (Barlow SK3575 Doe Lea SK4566 & Barlborough SK4776). It is a native of the mountains of southern Europe.
