Species Details

Hairy Finger-grass is a very rare casual annual of waste tips and flowerbeds. There are no recent records and only a few previous ones all from the 1970s and 1980’s; Melandra Tip (SK0095), Ashbourne (SK1746), Alvaston (SK3832) and Mortimer Wilson School (SK4156). It is probably imported as a part of bird-seed mixes. It is indigenous to southern Europe.
