Species Details

Annual Wall-rocket is a very rare established annual of waste land, verges and grassland in the south of our area (Carsington Pasture SK2553, Dimple Dump SK2960, Morley SK3940 & Mortimer Wilson School SK4155). Previous records also come from further north as at Chapel-en-le-Frith (SK0681) and Sheepbridge (SK3775) both in the 1960s. It was probably introduced as a contaminant of seed from central and southern Europe where it is native.
