Species Details

Leopard’s-bane is a rare recently established perennial of open woods, waysides and walls. It occurs sporadically throughout our area, as at Peak Dale (SK0876), the Rowthorne Trail (SK4764), the Via Gellia (SK2657) and Radbourne Park (SK2835). It is now widely grown in gardens for ornament, though it used to be grown for medicinal use. It is indigenous to western Europe.
