Species Details

Nuttall’s Waterweed is a newly-established submerged perennial of ponds canals and slow rivers. It occurs occasionally throughout the southern, eastern and north-western parts of our area as in the River Mease (SK2812), Melbourne Pool (SK3824), Oakerthorpe (SK3955), Pebley Reservoir (SK4878) and Birch Vale (SK0286). It is much grown by aquarists and pondkeepers. It is indigenous to North America.
