Species Details

Sun Spurge is a native annual of cultivated and waste ground, that some authorities, (Stace XXet al. 2003), now consider is an ancient introduction. It is occasional throughout our area though it is more frequent in the lowland southern and eastern parts than the northern and western. It has a local name of Wart-grass as its milk was thought to cure skin ailments (Grigson 1975).
