Species Details

Caper Spurge is a rare casual biennial of waste places and gardens, though some authorities (Stace XXet al. 2003) consider it an ancient introduction. Records exist for Hope Valley (SK1682) in the north, through Rattle (SK3463), to Sinfin (SK3430) and Longmoor Lane (SK4634) in the south. This native of southern England is grown in gardens and is now a constituent of bird-seed mixes.
