Species Details

Black Bindweed is a scrambling or climbing native annual of gardens, arable and disturbed land . This plant is frequent in the lowland southern and eastern parts of the county but rare in the more upland north and west.. Botanists generally pay little attention to this common weed but there are three records for the variety Xxsubulatum (Ashbourne SK1847 in 1969, Hulland SK24 in 1903 also Beauchief ,now in modern S.Yorks. SK3381 in 1969).
