Species Details

Tall Fescue is a robust native perennial of damp grasslands and rough ground on a range of soil types. Being sown for hay has obscured the native distribution, but. it occurs occasionally from Glossop (SK0294) and Westfield Plantation (SK4282) in the north, to Linton (SK2614) and Erewash Meadows (SK5032) in the south.
