Species Details

Confused Fescue is a very rare tufted native perennial. The sole localised record is for Monk’s Dale (SK17) in 1987, though it is also given for Derbyshire (v.c.57) in Wilkinson & Stace (1989). Despite this paucity of records Preston XXet al. (2002) describes it as characteristic of limestone cliff rock crevices in Derbyshire. It is probably under-recorded.
