Species Details

Dropwort is an occasional native perennial of dry daleside grasslands in the White Peak as at Hay Dale (SK1276) and Lathkill Dale (SK1664). It is also grown in gardens from where it occasionally escapes to become established elsewhere in the county as at Sheepbridge (SK3674) and Langley Mill (SK4447). Previous records from the south of the county, for example at Knowle Hills (SK3525) and Swarkstone (SK3628), may also have been native.
