Species Details

Hautbois Strawberry is a very rare casual perennial of roadsides and scrub. It was formerly cultivated for its fruit. There are no recent sightings but it was previously recorded from throughout our area (Grin Plantation SK0472 in 1969, Haddon SK26 in 1903 and Eggington Station SK22 in 1903). It is a native of central Europe.
