Species Details

Small Sweet-grass is an occasional native perennial that grows in or by the margins of slow-flowing streams, canals and ponds. It is recorded sporadically from throughout our area from Arnfield (SK0098 v.c.58) and Woodhead Reservoir (SK0899) in the north, through Mill Dale (SK1454) and Stonebroom (SK4059), to Westbrook Farm (SK2312) and Aston-on-Trent (SK4229) in the south.
