Species Details

Wild Candytuft is a very rare casual annual of short grassland. The sole recent record is from Miller’s Dale (SK1572) for 1988, and there are only six previous records. Clapham (1969) has two records, Tideswell (SK1575) and Ford Bridge (SK3540); and Linton (1903) four, Monsal Dale and Cressbrook Dale in SK17, Yeldersley in SK14 and Breadsall SK33. It is a native of central-southern England and a Nationally Scarce plant as a native.
