Iberis sempervirens
Perennial Candytuft
Species Details
Perennial Candytuft is a very rare established undershrub of roadsides and rock outcrops. It is much grown in gardens and occurs sporadically outside them as a garden throwout or relic of cultivation. There are only three recent records (Gratton Dale SK2060, Park Head SK3654 & Bolsover SK4770), and one previous record (Long Dale SK1959) for 1968. It is native to mountains in southern Europe.
