Species Details

Stinking Iris is a newly established perennial, native to Southern Britain but probably always a garden throw-out in Derbyshire. Modern records come from Risley Glebe (SK4635) and Long Eaton (SK4832).The record in Clapham (1969) for near Willersley Park in SK25 based on Linton (1903) is considered an error for Willersley Park in Leicestershire.
