Species Details

This hybrid of Hard Rush (XXJ. inflexus) and Soft Rush (XXJ. effusus) is a tufted native perennial of wet grasslands and marshes. There are only two recent records, Williamthorpe Ponds (SK4366) and a fish pond at Bradley (SK2443). There are also six previous records all for the southern half of the county for 1903 including SK14, SK22 and SK43.
