Species Details

Crested Hair-grass is an occasional native perennial of short infertile grasslands, rock outcrops and old lead workings in the White Peak as at Priestcliffe Lees (SK1473), Dove Dale (SK1451) and Gang Mine (SK2855). Elsewhere it is a very rare in unimproved grasslands as at Calke Park (SK3672), Trent Meadows (SK53B) and Elmton Green (SK5073). (Need to merge maps for ss and sl here)
