Species Details

Field Pepperwort is a rare native annual of open disturbed areas and arable fields. It occurs throughout our area except for the moorlands of the north-west (Pickering Wood SK2365, Drakelow Power Station SK2220, Witches Oak Water SK4329 & Staveley Old Station SK4374). It appears to have declined in arable fields in the southern part of our area but increased on waste ground in the eastern part since Clapham (1969).
