Species Details

(Locally extinct) Mousetail was a very rare native annual of arable land. It has only ever been recorded for four sites in our area Drakelow (SK21), Stapenhill (SK22), Darley Dale (SK26) and near Derby (SK33) all for pre-1903. It has probably been lost from our area due to general agricultural improvement.

This plant is in Category 6 of the local Red Data List, 2009.
