Species Details
(Locally extinct) Primrose-peerless was a newly established perennial of meadows. It was recorded for Starkholmes (SK25), Matlock (SK35) and Heanor (SK44) in 1903 but has not been recorded since then. It was cultivated and our records probably represent relics of cultivation or garden throw outs. It is the horticultural hybrid of Bunch-flowered (XXN. tazetta) and Pheasant’s-eye Daffodil (XXN. poeticus).
