Species Details

Bog Asphodel is an attractive native perennial of bogs, moors and wet heaths. It is occasional in the upland areas of the South West and Dark Peak as at Cistern Clough (SK0369), Oaken Clough (SK0786), Lodge Cote (SK1987) and Harland Sick (SK2868). There are no recent records elsewhere in our area, and only a single previous one at Hulland Moss (SK2446) in 1976.
