Species Details

Love-in-a-mist is a very rare casual annual that escapes from gardens, turning up on bare ground and rubbish tips. This native of Southern Europe was first recorded at Matlock Bank (SK3060) in 1997, and now appears scattered over the eastern part of the county, from Beighton (SK4484 - now modern S.Yorks) to Spondon (SK4036) in the south.
