Species Details

Hybrid Restharrow is a very rare native perennial. Our sole local record is from roadside grassland on the Taddington By-pass (SK1571). It was discovered by J.Hodgson in 1977, and last reported in 1990. A voucher specimen is in Derby Museum. However, Painter's 1889 Flora does hint at a possible hybrid record from Baslow. The plant is a spontaneous hybrid of Common Restharrow (XXO. repens) and Spiny Restharrow (XxO. spinosa).
