Species Details

(Locally extinct) Drooping Star-of-Bethlehem was a newly established perennial of meadows near Derby (SK33) in 1825 although Painter (1889) considered the record uncertain. There are no other records. It is grown as an ornamental in gardens and is native to central Europe.
