Species Details

Pink-sorrel is a very rare casual perennial of waysides, waste ground and flowerbeds. It is recorded scattered throughout our area from Glossop (SK0492) and Nether Handley Tip (SK4076) in the north, to Derby City (SK33) in the south. It is frequently grown in gardens for ornament, and is indigenous to eastern South America.
