Species Details

Large-flowered Pink-sorrel is a newly established perennial weed of gardens and waysides. It is widely grown as an ornamental in gardens but naturalises itself as an almost ineradicable weed. There are three recent records all from the Chesterfield area (Barn Road SK3672, Birdholme SK3969 & West Handley SK3977) and one previous record for Chatsworth Park (SK2670) in 1981. It is a native of South America.
