Species Details

Lesser Knotweed is a very rare established perennial of damp shady places in the north of our area (Toddbrook Reservoir SK0081, Whirlow SK3082 & Great Pond of Stubbing SK3667). It is sometimes grown in gardens from which it is spread by rhizome fragments. It is a native of the Himalayas.
