Species Details

Spiked Rampion is a newly established perennial. The sole local record was made in the grounds of St Mary’s Nursing Home Ednaston (SK2342) in 1975 by Miss K M Hollick. It was reported to have been present for there for the previous 40 years. It occurs naturally in southern England but has been grown widely elsewhere for centuries as a medicinal plant.
