Species Details

Broad-leaved Meadow-grass is a tufted casual perennial of grasslands and waste ground. The sole recent record is from Derby City (SK33), but there are previous records from Lose Hill Hall (SK1583) in 1981 and for SK25 in 1960. It is grown in gardens for ornament and is probably under-recorded. It is a native of central and southern Europe.
