Species Details

This hybrid cinquefoil is a very rare native perennial of grasslands heaths and rough ground. The sole recent record is from Wingerworth (SK3767) though there are previous records from around the county including Chisworth (SK09) in 1903, Neather Heage (SK3551) in 1966 and Carver’s Rocks (SK3322) in 1973. It is the hybrid of Tormentil (XXP. erecta) and Trailing Tormentil (XXP. anglica).
