Species Details

Sulphur Cinquefoil is a very rare casual perennial of waste ground. All recent records are in the Derby area (Derby SK33, Shipley SK4443 & Lock Lane SK4831) but it has been previously recorded from a wider area (Rowsley Sidings SK2665 & Lees Common SK3476). It is grown in gardens for ornament but can also be a contaminant of grass seed. It is a native of continental Europe.
