Species Details

Lungwort is a rare, newly established perennial of waysides, wood margins and waste ground. There are records spread across the county, but more in northern parts {Yorkshire Bridge SK1984; Chee Dale SK1273; Wren Park Wood SK3667; Golden Valley SK4251, Slade Plantation SK2935}. Lungwort is much grown in gardens for ornament, and occurs naturally in Continental Europe.
