Species Details

Narrow-fruited Water-cress is a rare native perennial of marshy areas, ditches and slow streams. It is recorded throughout our area except for the extreme northern and southern parts (Conies Dale SK1280, Meadow Place Grange SK2065, Marston Lane SK2330, Ashover SK36L & Markland Grips SK5074). It is probably under-recorded due to problems of separation from other water-cresses.

This plant is in Category 5b of the local Red Data List, 2009.
