Species Details

Marsh Yellow-cress is an occasional native annual of damp open habitats, particularly those covered by water in winter. It grows throughout our area. It is commoner at lower elevations although Derbyshire holds the altitudinal record for the species in Britain of 320m at Buxton (Preston XXet al. 2002). Note that the records in Clapham (1969) for XXRorippa islandica are errors for this plant.
