Species Details

Glaucous Dog-rose is a native shrub of scrub, rough grassland and waysides. It occurs occasionally in the upland north-western part of our county, from Rowarth (SK0189) and Rowlee Farm (SK1589) in the north, through Monk’s Dale (SK1473), to Mill Dale (SK1354) and Round Pond (SK2769) in the south. Previously it was also recorded further south at Shirley (SK24) in 1887.
