Species Details

There are no recent records for this native bramble of woods hedges and scrub. The latest record is from Unthank Lane (SK3074) in 1981, and there are previous records from Wirksworth (SK25), Unstone (SK37), Brierley Wood (SK37) and “between Pecocock Inn and Horsleygate” (SK37), all for 1903. Nationally it is a plant of northern Britain (Newton & Randall 2004).
