Species Details

There are no recent records for this native bramble. Linton noted it between Willington and Findern (SK23) and at Bretby (SK32). R.Smith found it in 1980 at Hilton Gravel Pits, SK2431 (specimens at Derby Museum). It is a plant of southern Britain, with Derbyshire close to the northern edge of its distribution (Newton & Randall 2004).
