Species Details
A rare but attractive native bramble discovered by R. Smith in 1979 at Swains Park near Castle Gresley (SK2917). That site is lost, but in 2005 it was found at Carvers Rocks (SK3322). Nationally it is a plant of northern Britain with our record marking its southern limit (Newton & Randall 2004). Specimen in Derby Museum.
