Species Details

This bramble is a native plant of the northern and central parts of our area. It has been noted from Charlesworth (SJ9993) and near Oxcroft Colliery (SK4674) in the north, to near Duffield Church (SK3442) in the centre. Previously it has also been recorded from further south, for example roadside between Thurvaston and Culland (SK2438), and Repton Shrubs (SK3024), both records for 1969.
