Species Details

Grey Willow is a common native shrub or small tree throughout our area. It grows in a wide range of habitats including woods, moors, marshes and fens, and occurs by rivers and ponds, and on waste ground. Where determined to the subspecies, our plant is always recorded as subspecies Xxoleifolia.
