Species Details

Celandine Saxifage is a very rare casual annual of shady waste places. Locally it has only ever been recorded once. This was by Miss K M Hollick from Ashbourne (SK1746) in 1983. Nationally it appears to be increasing in England due to escapes from gardens where it sets copious seed. It is indigenous in the eastern Mediterranean.
