Species Details

Rue-leaved Saxifrage is a native winter-annual of bare shallow soil, rocks and walls throughout Derbyshire. However it is only common and locally abundant on limestone in the White Peak, being occasional to absent elsewhere [Calke Park SK3622; Barlborough SK4777]. There is little local evidence of any decline, but nationally it is much reduced in southern and eastern England since 1950.
