Species Details

This figwort is a very rare, native perennial of damp shady places. It has only been recorded from one site in recent times, Whitwell Wood (SK5277). Previously it has been recorded as thinly scattered over a wide area of eastern (Pleasley Vale SK5265), central (Cromford Canal SK3156) and southern Derbyshire (Burton SK22).

This plant is in Category 5a of the local Red Data List, 2009.
