Species Details

Great Millet is a very rare casual annual of waste tips and waysides. The sole recent record is from a roadside at Johnson’s Mill (SK2862), and the only previous one from a tip in Derby (SK3736) in 1969. It is a constituent or contaminant of bird-seed and food grains. It originates from sub-Saharan Africa.
