Species Details

Pyrenean Valerian is a newly established perennial of waysides and woods. The two recent records are from the north-western part of our area; near Reservoir Road (SK0081 v.c.58), and Furness Vale (SK0084 v.c.58). The one previous record is from the centre of the county at Hopton Hall (SK2552) for 1969. It is a native of the Pyrennes that is sometimes grown in gardens.
