Species Details

Green Field-speedwell is an anciently established annual of cultivated land and waste places, generally on well-drained acidic soils. Although rare in the county, there are records throughout, from Audenshaw Clough (SE1100 v.c.58) and Hutcliffe Cemetery (SK3382 now modern S.Yorks.) in the north, through Cromford (SK2956) and Hill Top Farm (SK4266), to Overseal (SK2815) and Ticknall (SK3623) in the south.
