Species Details

Brooklime is a frequent native perennial of the margins of ponds and streams plus ditches marshes flushes and wet woodland rides. It is intolerant of competition and thus generally occurs in rather open habitats. It has been recorded for all of our area except for the limestone plateau of the White Peak, and the high moors of the Dark Peak.
